135 launch control

The launch control on my 2011 Dinan Stage 2 135i has just stopped working. I rarely use it, so it's not from overuse. Anyone run into this problem?
Just wont rev up and bring the flag icon up.

Amazing, isn't it? I now have 45,000 miles on my X5 50i and it still whines at low speed and when revved in N at standstill. The noise is not heard at higher speeds but creeping around at 5 to 10...
