Sounds like a massive vacuum leak to me. Maybe part of the new VCG got kinked or not seated well during installation?. I would go back and re- check installation before starting to look elsewhere.

You never mentioned if it was a 2.5i or 3.0i, not that it has a big impact in price or reliability because both engines are top notch, but is really nice to have the extra power of the 3.0i.

You'd be surprised at how long the OEM brakes last, my first brakes change was at 60k. Also check on the tires, it probably has the original ones which would be a good idea to replace sooner than...

Yeah it's refundable at time of delivery, they apply it to the total price.
In any case, I wouldn't let this go too easy, if you can't do a PPI before delivery, go back and test drive the hell out...

Looking at the mileage itself, is a steal. I would snatch it before someone else does. I would take it to a BMW independent shop for a Pre-Purchase inspection just to be on the safe side.

Hawk and Ekebono have good low-dust options. There's a trade-off, you lose some initial bite and responsiveness. For some is worth it, at least you have clean wheels for longer!
