The sad thing is BMW knows this car has a lot issues, but they won't fix anything because North American consumers love this car. They don't drive the 7 in Europe.

Thanks. Figured out that the good for nothing ebayer who sold it to me neglected to tell me they didn't have the adapter to plug into the OBDII socket. No fefunds, too. figure the odds.

Where do you hook up the bavauto code reader? Does anyone have the manual to decipher the codes? I bought it on ebay and it didn't come with the user manual.:dunno:

Valve cover gasket replacement

I just replaced my valve cover gasket and now my secondary air control system is making a humming sound for about 2 minutes when I turn the car on. Did I miss something during the gasket replacement?
