dark smoke is most likely a rich fuel mixture which could be some of your problem, if is an over rich mixture u could be getting fuel into your oil which will cause it to burn

I would think if u used the same shop to evacuate and then to vaccum the system and recharge it, unless you are low on refrigrent they should be able to put what they removed from your car back in it
