Just a point of reference- I had a staggered set of wheels powdercoated the color of my liking for $300 for the entire set. The powdercoating shop also buffed out any curb rash at the same time....

the shroud does two things- directs and funnels the air through the rad core, and provides some minimal protection if the fan blades were to grenade....
