the auto light sensor ages and like us...it...

the auto light sensor ages and like us...it becomes less sensitive....so....if you dont want it be ON fr a long period of time.....switch it OFF......

sometimes the battery connection could be at fault if not secured tightly.dash lights up fine but just insufficient juice to the starter...

me thinks if this reset works,even for a week or less,then perhaps a tranny s/w update is needed and that there is nothing physically wrong with it...:dunno:

fuse puller location

The E60 has fuse pullers for both the glovebox and trunk fuses.The puller for the glovebox sits nicely in its slot but for the life of me I can't figure out where the slot for the trunk fuse...

i have not had the need to replace the OAT sensor...

i have not had the need to replace the OAT sensor on my e60 but when i replaced the sensor on my e39,the reading on the display took a little while to register the correct reading.
if yours still...

yup....when the coil pack is disconnected,no combustion in #6 hence no pushing of #6 piston against the con rod and crank equating to much lesser knocking sound.
