An 02 model E39 A/C compressor will not kick in if the aux fan is dead.

I would check the aux fan connector for corrosion, before buying another aux fan.

I have a bad feeling if your mechanic was telling you the true reading of the old oil pump.
Even if the oil sender is coated with oil doesn't mean it was bad.

I would just put the old oil sender...

Good point. I didn't like that neither. However, having it over a month now and I think it needed it in the F150, since it doesn't have an aux fan. And, Painless controller does utilize PWM to ramp...

The only E-fan controller company I know that has the option using vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is Painless Controller. The nice thing about this is it let you decide whatever the speed of your vehicle...

If it's up to me I wouldn't connect the A/C signal, I don't think you need the fan running while cruising at highway speed with A/C on.

Look for a used Snap On. Mine is rated at 640 FT/LBS or some crazy number like that. It makes swapping tires like a piece of cake.

It's a little pricey but worth it.

If you are sure the new sensors are good then you should clean the ring ( the hills and valleys are so dirty that the signal is weak causing a bad reading).
