Not to add on, but it's not a bad time to replace your Oil Filter Housing Gasket as well. It's very inexpensive (<$7) and with the intake manifold off a breeze to change.

I think there is general agreement that a flush is a waste of time at best. Dropping the pan & replacing the filter is the best way to go, probably more so at 60k intervals. Even BMW has backed off...

Combustion gases pressurizing the cooling system is about the only way you wind up with coolant shooting out of the reservoir. It's almost certainly either a head gasket or cracked head.
