I like my 340i steering feel just fine, not a problem and doesn't need a fix. YMMV.

What is so complicated about letting the engine idle on a level spot, and pushing a few buttons? Come on, it's less effort than using the old dip stick method.

In the pix of the car you posted today, something looks very "off" in the way that rear wheel sits (at least to my eye, or it might be the angle of the pix?).

Be interesting to see what the end...

I seriously doubt that rim is fixable, damage is too massive. You need winter tires, especially if you have RWD (not xDrive). Let us know how it plays out. Looks expensive.

Yes, but you have only owned it 10 months and put 2K miles on it. Probably happened before you bought it; you said it had 28K on it at your purchase..............caveat emptor.

With no tire and wheel insurance, and with a nail puncture (as opposed to tire defect); I suspect you are on your own.

You will tire of a $3k beater really quickly, when you have a much better car sitting in the garage. I have been the beater-route, and don't recommend it.

YMMV
