3 screws hold the gills and the frame to the hood. Theres a small amount of adjustment. Make sure to use the correct size philips driver and not strip the drives.

For a sludgy CCV, can you just use some gumout an squirt it into the easily reached hoses? Seems like might work. rinse all that gunk into the oil case and change the oil.

Steve, others will chime in with links to the bleed process, but if you let the temp get into the red 2x , you may have bigger issues now. These cars are terribly sensitive to overheat conditions...

Most obvious is a short in the wire harness going from the trunk to the car body. Pull the rubber boot up where the harness in the trunk goes into the body and look for a wire with worn insulation.
