if all of the fuses and radio work fine, then i would pull the clock spring out and do a continuity test. not that hard to do. i am not aware of any way to probe the wires to check for continuity...

are you sure that it is the transmission that is leaking? is the fluid leaking red? transmission leaks are pretty rare, but power steering leaks are not. they both use "transmission" fluid.
