26 miles across the sea...

And from my home in San Diego North County to Lindbergh Field, the main SD airport.

My question is how many days can the car sit unplugged at the airport (if any) assuming a full charge when I...

Regen Braking Adjustment?

To Nomoreemissions:

I see from your other posts, which I appreciate, that you appear to have elected to go with Tesla, given the problems you've had with your i3.

I know how disappointing a new...

Regen Braking

Thanks for the response.

I know that there is a significant price difference between the i3 and Tesla, with the latter being around twice as expensive.

It was just a wish on my part, apart...

Regen Braking Adjustment?

[B][B]

Just a thought...Tesla has an available braking adjustment that allows the driver to select a less abrupt braking force, as in the immediate braking when you let up on the accelerator, that...

Initial Impressions of my new i3

Excellent and most thorough review! Thanks!

I, too, drove the Tesla (several times, in fact), and was most impressed, as was the OP.

But the cost and the fact that the seats sat a bit too low...

Heads UP, Everyone...

...uhhh...unless you're in an i3, that is.

Wassup with that?

Leading edge technology in the i3....so why not a heads up display? And it's not as if it's not featured in many other BMW models,...

Deceleration Adjustment?

The Tesla has an adjustment that will make the car decelerate with a more conventional "car-like" feel than the "golf cart-like" sudden braking effect that occurs when you take your foot off the...

Nightmare at an LA dealership

Are you shouting? Why capitalize "lease" and "large"?

I don't get it.

Nightmare at a "Large" LA dealership

I share with those who regret what happened to you. It is inexcusable.

But why keep capitalizing "Large"?

Post sales survey

I kind of like Bayoucity's approach, and will follow it in the future, as I suspect that his blood pressure is lower than mine, as I no doubt spend far too much time (if any is really indicated)...

Post-sales survey

Again, and as I meant to say, why should all be "dinged" as the result of the failing(s) or shortcomings of one?

I know that it's used as a technique in basic training, but I remain of the opinion...

Post-sales survey

I certainly agree with the concept or approach of someone saying to me that his or her pay or bonus is largely dependent upon the post-sales survey, so that if there is any reason, etc., etc.

At...

To begin with, the survey in its present format puts far too much pressure on employees, which then is passed on to customers.

And why the...

Ok...listen up.

You can no longer do things over the phone, or mail in a key fob to be read in purchasing such warranties.

As a result of what seems like collusion-type pressure brought to bear...

A 2-cylinder engine for the X-3?

I only WISH it was an April Fool's joke!

The point, though it apparently was missed by many (if not all), is that, at least as I see it, the X-3 may well be underpowered, inasmuch as it is a much...
