1. If you're getting a car with navigation, it'll get you where you need to go in English. Road signs are super easy and intuitive. Just learn the speed limit signs......

For what it's worth, on M cars, if you drop off at ED with over 1200 miles and haven't done the service, the state-side VPC will do your 1200 mile service before your redelivery.

I did 2 cross country trips (NYC-SF) in my E46... doesn't matter how cool the car is... the highways are slow, the road conditions are questionable and the rest stop areas are pretty infrequent.
