Assuming that your 2010 is still under factory warranty, then you're going to get the remainder of the original car warranty on the rebuilt transmission.

I've raised my car up using the differential as a jacking point many a time. As pcy stated, use a 2 X ? piece of lumbar between the jack and the flat spot on the differential.
