Easy. Just turn auto highs on and head to the highway. They are always on if the auto is functioning like on the video as the shades blind the beam accordingly for the upcoming cars. No need for them...

It shouldn't be about the part number. Try selecting PSI from the Idrive Units menu. Otherwise coding might do it.

Cold is when bulbs are turned off. Hot monitoring is for when they're switched on. Cold sends pulses each time car is turned on to check whether a circuit is complete or not.

Well it works with that button. But for DOT regulations US Specs might only have the auto on-off rather than the adaptive high beam.

I don't think they come on with the lights at all. Only with turn signals. I'd actually prefer them to be dimly lit at all times.

My thoughts exactly. I've never seen another car this big which this small trunk. Especially when you have the rear refrigerator and the extra AC like me. You can hardly fit any luggage.

I didn't have it when I purchased the car. After my first update through the dealer I got it. So it's definitely update based. Ask your dealer to update you to the latest ISTA/P.
