Not that I'm biased or anything.. but I would highly recommend an E36 318is as someone else mentioned. Cheap to pick up, powerful enough to have fun with at lower speeds, great revvy engine and parts...

Indeed, a friend of mine decided to use sealant in his car and ended up ruining his cooling system, and despite his best efforts the car has never been the same since. Horrible stuff.
