The Sport mode manual shift really is faster and cleaner than I can normally execute. It's a novelty, though, that wore off within a couple of weeks of my owning the car. I still sometimes use it to...

WHITEY, I'm so jealous. My e61 is a better car in most ways than my late, great e34 Touring but I just don't love it the same way.

Ethrty-Andy's fuel mileage is pretty bad - I don't think I ever...

Front tin for an e34 - western Canada

In my enthusiasm to fix a lost cause, I've ended up with some surplus sheet metal - like the whole front clip from a '95 M5. Not the unibody parts, just everything that could be unscrewed - hood,...

CHANGE OF PLAN. Someone saw my car posted at a local import repair shop and came by and bought it tonight. He's getting a pretty simple remove-and-replace project, with a wonderful car as his reward....

To find my wagon, I went onto Autotrader.com and Edmunds.com and set my zip code as 90210. That's any easy number to remember, even for a Canadian, and it zeroes in on Beverly Hills. My radius was...

My e34 Touring is not particularly loaded but it does have one really nice option - bison leather seats, colour Pergament (Parchment), which is a medium beige. The car has over 180,000 miles on it,...

I'm on my second 5-series wagon and I love it. Ditto everything Oceans10 says except the hot-rodding part. The basic car has plenty of power and I appreciate the terrific fuel economy.

FRANKENBIMMER e34

In February, when my dolt of a teenager crashed my beautiful '95 525i Touring, I initially thought that was the end of that. I consoled myself with another Bimbox, an '06 530xi purchased out of Las...
