also when did you actually buy the car? because it's 4 years OR 50k. if you bought it before June 18, 2013 you'd be out of both plans anyway. sorry!

keep in mind a service contract is usually just that - service. oil changes, brake pads. it's not warranty coverage for when something fails. make sure you know what you are getting.

you can look at realoem.com for specific part numbers but for something like that it's probably best to visit a junk yard or parts recycler. are you in the US? i can't tell.
