Maybe you have a defective-out-of-the-box fuel pump (or it was installed incorrectly). I would move my fuel pressure gauge to the sending unit to see if I was getting fuel pressure at the tank.

Hm... according to the ETM, fuse 30 is not used. You may have some kind of aftermarket gizmo installed. Remote starter, maybe?

The ECU has to have a working crank sensor to activate the fuel pump. It does so by providing a ground to the control circuit of the fuel pump relay.
