Could be your fuel pump is going bad. Do you have any stored codes? Most fuel pump failures don't leave any fault codes, so if you don't have any and your fuel pump has 100k or more on it, replace it.

If it doesn't even click, I would investigate the nuetral safety switch after making sure the battery, its terminals, and cables and connections are good. Next culprit would be the ignition switch.
