I liked mine lowered so much, ,,The shocks & springs are still in my attic ! And that was only 1.5" Don't do it . (unless ,, you wanna buy some stuff !?)

Are alarm systems really necessary ? Or are they just noisy redundant gadgets that no-one pays attention to ? The reason I ask is, I currently don't have one in my E46 and i'm considering installing...

There also are aftermarket in dash nav/radio units, check with private auto gadget companys. I had one installed in my Hummer H2, it's as good as OEM.

That ding might also be a change in outside temp...

That ding might also be a change in outside temp alert. The bulbs are small and sometimes attached to a socket ,check your manual or dealer parts dept.
