They have specs for everything. Some really help to make sure to tighten them enough. Others are more important to make sure you don't tighten them too much. Like a plastic cap in a metal fitting.

More likely to get tire damage as well from short sidwalls. Maybe pot hole does not damage wheel but is makes a bubble...
