I may just replace these bolts as preventive maint. on my wifes 2008 X3 next time I do a oil change. Sounds like they can break at anytime & do some major damage to other parts.

I bought OEM battery since original lasted over 5 years. Its AGM so ne need for vent tube. Plus I get BMW parts at cost so was no brainer:D.

Like others have said it needs the cylinder head replaced. I honestly dont know why BMW bothers with the lifter/rocker fix as it does not seem to work.
