My opinion; the WeatherTech design is superior because of the side, front and rear 'ears' that keep snow/moisture from getting on the carpet. Only bought a set for the front since it's mostly my wife...

I will always use premium (91) as recommended however it's currently $.50/gal more than regular.(91)
It is ethanol free which probably increases mileage slightly.

There is also a 89 octane option...

It actually doesn't make much sense.
There are many inferior cars out there that have dual exhaust.

yes it's exactly what I'm asking.
The 35i N55 engine in the X5 is exactly the same as the one in the X3 yet it has dual exhaust.
This leads me to the conclusion that it's a money saving decision....
