BMW will (almost always) get you there, but often by clearly non-optimal routes.

Over the last 3 years I have concluded that all the info is in the database, but the logic "gives up" too soon.

Also try disabling then enabling the ethernet...

Also try disabling then enabling the ethernet (local connection) on your computer. Sometimes it takes a while. Should show a "!" on icon and say limited connectivity.

Looking into a OBD socket, with shorter side at bottom, 16 should be at bottom rightmost hole.
Pin 4, 4th from top left, is ground.

I think that if you had read through this thread (and several other "Bad Navigation" threads), you would find that just about every ED user (me included) found the Nav to be "perfect" while in Europe...
