Here are the pics of the burst seal and after the stint. Mine went from not a single drop of coolant leaking to epic fail in an instant. It doesn't have to start gradually.

Hi,

I noticed that the left fender of my e66 is significantly warmer than right side. is this normal?
The hood is pretty even, the temperature seems to be specific to the left fender.

it may be that the battery wasn't registered? I got all sorts of unrelated faults (doors locking, unlocking, check engine etc) because of a battery dying. You can check battery voltage from in dash...

As part of fixing the weep hole problem (I used bimmerfix stint, easy, $160 and works great so far) I found an oil leak which I can't identify. I thought it might be alternator bracket...

Yes, but do you need to use a liquid carburetor cleaner for that? I'm afraid I will hydrolock the engine, because I don't know how to avoid hydrolocking :)
