I think I'll try out your 'superstition', if it works, it's worth it. But I'll also try this wheel and undercarriage insurance first.
Now, I got my wheels fixed last week. Had my dealer fax them the receipt. I don't know what they faxed, because I later got a phone call from my insurance company asking for the receipt saying "PAID".
Anyways, the timer is ticking. I get a flat about every 3 weeks. At this rate, I'll be able to pay for a 645 in full about every 6 years.
