radar detectors work in 745 windshield ??
ok.....I am hearing from my local electronics installer that my X50 passport 8500 won't work thru the metalic windshield in my 2004 745LI ? please tell me it ain't so, as I really never keep cars long enough to justify the custom built in systems ( lost my a_s financially when I put one in sports car--three porches ago.
any facts/experience appreciated. thanks
