Gman - I'm a bit late to this post, but sorry to hear about your problems. Although I did laugh (sorry...) when you mentioned that you always had to listen to the same song when you start car. Torture.

For me, the best thing to do was simply burn MP3s - and I can put 170 - 180 songs on one CD. The inital challenge was figuring out how to burn MP3 from my itunes purchases. All I had to do was burn my downloaded itunes songs to a CD - then rip them back into itunes as MP3. I keep the MP3 files in different folders than my itunes downloads.

So I've got 1,000 songs at any time and the idrive shows album name, artist, song name. And the sound quality is great.


Edit: One other thing, I don't have any of the delay issues with my CD changer that 7Heaven mentioned.
