Here is the way I think it works: foreign built BMWs destined for the VPC in Greer are offloaded from the ship n Charleston and trucked to Greer. All US built cars destined for a VPC other than Greer and sent on the return train trip back to Charleston and then put on another train to the other VPCs (or loaded on the boat to go overseas).
FYI- the VPC at Greer is at the end of the Z3 (er now Z4) production line.
