I'd be careful about one thing ordering a new BMW E39 front seat control module in that I'd double check the part number.
The part number on the sticker on my seat control module, for example, was
61.31.6.910.717 ... but the part number in the REALOEM web site is apparently 61.35.6.901.558 ($175 USD).
