They should bolt right on. I have used after market wheels off a e21 on a e30 with no spacers. I also have put the bottle caps on a 2002 with no issues. All 3 cars have the 4 x100 pattern.
the only time I have needed spacers is using wheels off a Honda or VW. the front wheel drive cars have a deeper offset so the wheels go to far into the car on a BMW. usually get 1/4 inch spacers off ebay. The non hub centric ones will work but they slide around when your trying to mount the wheel. So you need to tape them into place to keep them centered untill the wheel in mounted and they are locked in place.
Or they make one for BMWs that fit the hub perfectly they are a bit more expensive. Again you only need these for you getting a wheel off a FWD car.
Id be more concerned that the tires are 70 series and may rub if the car is lowere. VS a 60 series tire.
