congrats on the find, check craigslist and ebay for the rims, what you're looking for are commonly referred to as "basketweaves".

Finally, I wouldn't worry too much about A/C in a vert, especially in New York. I used to drive a Wrangler when I lived in maryland and the only time I used the A/C in it was when I was too lazy to take the top down, and I don't think that would be much of an issue with an e30. Just my .02
