A little outdated but this place is completely unprofessional and a total scam. I emailed them my unit with $49 cash and the cost of return shipping. After a few days one of their main guys called me and informed me that my unit couldn't be fixed (I had previously tried to change the transistor myself and messed it up). I assumed that they would send me my unit back since I had covered the cost of return shipping and my return address.

After a week it still had not arrived so I called them. No one answered so I left a message asking for my unit back. Broken or not, I wanted to fill the gaping hole that was in my dashboard without the unit. No one ever got back to me so I called and left a message again. They never made an effort to get back to me, and they never sent the unit back.

I finally emailed them a few months later expressing that I was upset with their service. I told them that I felt like I had been scammed, and wanted my unit back, a refund, or some alternative. Their reply?

"SCAMMED? First of all, this is the first I heard from you since I explained that the return shipping needs to be paid. There was NO payment enclosed with the unit. I have no need and their is no value to your unit sitting on my shelf in the same box you sent it to us. "

I most definitely paid for the service and the cost of shipping, and his "explanation" to me is entirely fictional.

After a few exchanges, I ultimately explained that I did pay, I did make calls, and that they should have mailed me my unit back. I got this response:

"I never received phone calls or emails from you! Bottom line. I can check all my emails going back 3 years! You made no contact! So don't come busting my balls when I do this at cost for the community since I am in a class action law suit against BMW! Idiots like you make it hard for good deeds to go around for people who appreciate it. "

Bottom line: This guy is nuts, I'm only an "idiot" for trusting him in the first place, I'm out $60, there's still a gaping hole in my dashboard, and I am not looking forward to summer heat without my A/C.
