You're sure it's getting gas? There's two fuel pumps, one in the tank and one under the car. Both need to be working properly to develop correct pressure. Older cars have lots of corrosion issues especially with electrical connections and relays. Check these carefully. The fuel filter may also be part of the problem, and cheap to replace.
