I was just told, that topping off my DEF is my responsibility...
Also, they told me that they will not check my system - other possible cause of DEF consumption - at all. SA is not even aware of any instruction from BMW regarding DEF warning before standard maintenance period. Link
What a BS, also was told that I will not get loaner, even though I purchase car there, until 2 weeks from now. My DEF will run out at the end of this week. I talked to Bob at Motor Werks - Barrington IL.
