I just did this the other day to solve my no start issue after heavy rain. It will take about 15-30mins tops. Jack the car up and get it on jack stands or rhino ramps with the wheels straight. Disconnect the battery first and then disconnect the terminal going to the starter (13mm). Also go ahead and undo the connector coming off the starter. I would leave the harness on the started side connected to terminals until you have the starter out, it is easier to undo them with the starter out. Remove the passanger side filter, housing, and tube going to the firewall, this will let you get the E12 bit on to the upper starter bolt. Use a combination of extentions and a universal joint to get the top one out. The bottom bolt is really straight forward, at this point hold the starter with your free hand to keep it from falling. Pushing the started vertical will help you wiggle it out. You will then need a 10mm to get the heat shield off. Hope this helps
