Brought my X3 back to the shop because of the ever increasing whining noises: differential or bearing problems. Not good. Has nothing to do with the ATC reprogramming.

The mechanic was amazed how simple this reset procedure is. They do it in a different way, and have a way to speed up the learning process. It is very labour intensive, because they have to take the car for a drive and repeat certain gear changes 50 times!
