Again, I recommend to all person considering the 2004 to 2007 (at Least) BMW 645 TO BUY the coupe. Stay away from this LEMON top.

Use it the way it should be used. Top up or top down as you see fit. Now that you know what the issues are and at least seems to fix the problem, use the heck out of it and see if it works all the time. If it gets stuck again, at least you know the steps to rectify the problem. I have to agree, BMW could have done a much better job on the convertible mechanism.
