Mein Auto: 2005 BMW 645ci
The mechanism seems to be fine. The sensors and sensor alignment are a piece of junk that making millions for BMW. I'd like to see a rack up of how many replacement sensor parts they have sold and what the total labor charges are to remove and replace them. Any lawyers out there that can research this? If we had these numbers this would probably lead to a Class Action Suit.

But you are right, I should try to use it some now after I've gotten thru the tough part of learning how to troubleshoot and fix it myself.

This is my 3rd BMW and 2nd BMW convertible. 86' 325e coupe and a 96 325ci conv and it had a manual close that sucked and they changed it to auto the next year. (think it was a 96).
