Contact Koni directly and discuss their warranty policy. Unless your installation allows the shocks to bottom out internally instead of using the external bump stops, or overly short springs to fall off their seats in rebound, spring selection cannot hurt the shocks - any springs stiff enough to damage your shocks will break your back first. If you drive up a curb at speed or otherwise wreck your car and mangle the shocks, that is not covered under warranty anyway.
