why rear wheels ?
put whole car on ramps
check that your central rubber mount is in the middle
tighten it
if DS installed correctly bolts will be in the middle too

E39 I6 DS design was changed in 03/2001
My car is 06/2001 525i and it has new DS design
I found this is the best position with 0 DS vibration
and i tested it up to 125 MPH
