That is incorrect. You DO NOT have to buy new front tweeter housings with the BSW Stage 1 E90 upgrade kit. BSW includes the new door trim with integrated tweeter housings as part of the kit. For the rear parcel shelf tweeters, you do have to notch out a small hole near the existing speakers (the cardboard is already scored where the tweeter should go) and the kit includes the hardware to secure the tweeter in place within the existing speaker cover.
