Hopefully I can still order the 2012 because I know the eco credit is in effect now but it may not be in the fall. I will have to call the ca again tomorrow.
I was just infomed by dealer today that the current ECO credit expires on Feb 28th only applies to 2011 model.

The base of 2012 diesel is largely boosted, I won't be surprised to see the current eco credit extended.

I was intestered in diesel, however, I found many options in 2011 were forced throwed in base price of 2012 model now; For example, in order to get rear side shader, real climate control, you have to order the new $3500 "premium package", which was in $820 real climate package in 2011 model. I would much prefer 2011 options configuration.

In 2012 model, we are now debating to get 35i rather than 35d.
