Just for everyone's information, I contacted the seller of these "Glass Headlight Covers for E39" on Ebay, and it turns out that they are NOT glass - just standard poly covers.
From Ebay Seller:

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of ordering.

I'd pay 150.00 for glass - but you have to ask yourself "Why only in Latvia?"
Maybe someday I'll take a shot. Better than spending it at the casino.
