For what its worth...
Took my first road trip with the vert from Foster City CA to Santa Barbara CA. Around 315 miles one way. 80 mph average speed and 23.7 mpg on the way there and 70 mph average speed, 22.6 mpg on the way back. There are some hills to climb on the way back.

I guess that's pretty decent for our bimmers right?
