Not exactly.

When you start the car, there is a mileage countdown to the next service. Oil Service or Inspection. Most people here seem to change their oil about mid-run on the countdown.

There are brake pads sensors that tell you that the pads are getting thin, and need replacing, but it is reactive (light comes on when the pads get thin).
