ES File Explorer and Titanium Backup both work on a partially rooted Rezound. That means you are free to remove whatever 'bloatware' or 'carrier crapware' as you put it, using those tools. Temp root just means you have full root until you reboot.
If you were HTC, would you lose out on millions of $$ because you didn't want to install a carrier app like CIQ? I wouldn't. Especially since HTC's are generally the easiest phones to work with when it comes to root and bootloaders. The dev community can undo any 'evil' the carriers try to pull off.
