I think that was covered pretty well in this thread; most of those who went with a Z4 recognize its handling and roadholding as inferior to the Porsche's, but chose it anyway ... what more are you looking for
If you're looking for the track champ, you go Boxster; if it's value and styling you prioritize, you go Z4.
