Well, every time there's dyno talk it inevitably goes to questions of to what degree the values were adjusted in the dyno's software. And whether it was just the typical adjustment to compensate for the current atmospheric temp/pressure/humidity as compared to a 'standard day', or if there were any other less reliable adjustments made to the values like some 'assumed' drivetrain loss compensation. And I guess in this instance for the 1st time, I'm that guy. The other value I've seen of "226hp / 230lb-ft torque at the wheels [thread here]" seems more plausible/believable [still great].

Tho OTOH, the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times of the 328i the auto mags are getting do point to 240+ HP @ the wheels thru a more efficient drivetrain of today (vs the power sapping slow shifting drivetrains of a decade or more ago). So maybe I'm being overly pessimistic.
